Grey talks of the in-between, an indifference of a colour that lacks opinion or statement. Like cement it is an aggregate that often completes other colours without functioning alone. This apathetic fence sitting places it perfectly for my continued exploration of text as a constructive rather than communicative entity. This body of work contains grids of language that adhere to syntax and our understanding of language but only in a manner to generate a mass to be placed in a space. The arrangements of 'blue frames' follow the same format but act as an unknown language.
